Raiganj to Get its Own Passport Sewa Kendra on 6th March

Webdesk, TNI Raiganj, 3^rd March, 2017: At last it’s a dream come true for the residents of Raiganj. In this month itself, one can get their passport from Raiganj itself. It’s the end of long journeys to Baharampur for a passport. A resident of Raiganj can now apply and get their passport from Raiganj itself. From the 6th of March 2017, the Head Post office of Raiganj is going to start its Passport service center. For this, the upper floor of the Post office building’s 720 sq ft area is also earmarked and is currently being renovated for the center. The Superintendent of Post Mr. Suchandan Biswas told TNI that on 6th March 2017 the Passport Sewa Kendra of Raiganj will be inaugurated by the MP of Raiganj Md Salim. The other dignitaries who will be present are the Regional Passport Officer Mr. Bibhuti Bhushan Kumar, Chief Poster Master General (WB Circle) Mr. A Ghosh. Henceforth, after Asansol, Raiganj will be getting its own Passport Sewa Kendra. The area of coverage of the Sewa Kendra is Malda, North Dinajpur, and South Dinajpur districts. Interested people from these districts have to apply online and then they will be called in this office. Raiganj residents are happy with the outcome.
